Ron Levine

Operations

Ron Levine has served in every facet of FOH operations and Management. For three decades he has worked with some of the icons of the industry, beginning with his mentor, legendary restaurateur Joe Baum at the three-star Aurora. Work continued with Baum at the recreated Rainbow Room, as Banquet Maitre D'Hotel for a catering department that posted over $12 million in Private Event Revenue in 1991. The guidance and opportunity offered by Baum set the foundation of his career.

Next Mr. Levine took an opportunity to join the Service team at Le Cirque at the Palace Hotel and there found a friend in Andrew Carmellini, a Sous Chef at the time. Mr. Levine would eventually join AC as General Manager at Daniel Boulud's Café Boulud, and again years later as GM at A Voce, both awarded 3 stars by the NY Times. These experiences crystalized his hospitality philosophy, "Create a culture of caring: caring about our colleagues, caring about our community, and caring about the level of professionalism we bring to each service."  To Ron, a healthy culture is every bit as important as the processes and systems that keep a business viable. Fun comes with proficiency, and both lead to success.
